From October 12 to 19 2008 our 2nd COLOGNE INTERNATIONAL COMEDY FILM FESTIVAL took place. In its second year the Festival already presented 36 german and international films and TV productions. A great number of directors, actors and comedians visited the festival.
In cooperation with the digital TV-network ARD EinsFestival we were able to subtitle 10 international feature films and broadcast nationwide. They reached around 100.000 viewers.
The "German Comedy Award" in the section "Best international comedy film" was awarded to "How to lose friends and alienate people" with Simon Pegg and Kirsten Dunst. The EinsFestival audience 2008 award went to "The delicate Art of Parking".
